54 degrees and sunrise at 7:31 am this morning in Duluth, GA.
I didn’t have my phone with me this morning. It was sitting on the kitchen counter as we ran out the door to get Sammie to school on time.
On the way back the sky was starting to turn a delightful shade of pink and I knew the sunrise was going to be beautiful.
The Labyrinth and impending sun called for my immediate attention upon return to the house.
The sky was all kinds of deliciousness this morning pink, lavender, blue, orange, tangerine, and more as the sun rose in all her glory.
As I walked the path and it started to sprinkle slightly I was giving thanks.
Gratitude for this beautiful gift of nature this morning, that I could witness and experience and soak in, in the midst of world chaos.
I was thinking about a discussion we had in a mastermind group I facilitate yesterday about holding it all in both hands.
As we walk through this world holding the good and the bad, the disappointments and successes, the light and the dark, our light and our shadow seeking that ever-elusive balance.
We also talked about what we love about our work in the world.
What a joy it is to take a moment and savor the simple delights. As I type this I’m having my morning cup of tea (English breakfast with a teaspoon of raw honey) and counting my blessings – you being one of them.
What are you grateful for this morning?
In Peace & Play,
Christine
